Arts and crafts elbow chair in oak William Birch

Arts and crafts armchair in oak by William Birch of High Wycombe . This chair was bought in Dorset and features a very unusual pattern of river rush seat that I've never seen before , put on within the last 30 years perhaps to a local tradition . It is in very good original condition and finish having been cleaned and wax polished and the frame tightened where necessary .
