Trompe L'oeil , Faux marble pedestal

Rather wonderful piece of Tromp L'oeil in the form of a faux marble , shaped pedestal stand . The life like marble veining has been added over a gesso coated wooden base and at first glance , looks exactly like marble . Exceptionally well done , it is in very good original condition .
